Every cut of meat in this kitchen is halal, and there has never been pork on the premises. That is the whole policy. Here is what it means for the things people usually ask about.

Zabiha halal, sourced and certified
Our chicken, beef and lamb are zabiha halal. We buy from halal suppliers, the meat arrives labeled, and the certification is held with [HALAL CERTIFIER]. Ask at the counter and we will show you the paperwork. We would rather you check than wonder.
What that means for pepperoni, bacon and gyro
- Pepperoni is beef pepperoni. Always. There is no pork pepperoni in the building to confuse it with.
- Italian sausage is beef sausage, seasoned the same way you expect it to taste.
- Bacon is turkey bacon, and Canadian bacon is turkey as well.
- Gyro is a halal lamb and beef cone, sliced to order for the Beef Gyro sandwich and the gyro pizza.
- Chicken for wings, tikka, tandoori, butter chicken, alfredo and the tenders is halal chicken.
Because there is no pork anywhere in the kitchen, there is nothing to cross contaminate. Same oven, same pans, same hands, all halal.
Vegetarian and gluten free
Six of our specialty pizzas are vegetarian, including the Greek, the Mediterranean, the Margarita and the Quatro Formaggi. On the pasta side, the gluten free penne with marinara is on the regular menu, and the gluten free pizza shell is available in 10 inch for $2.00 more.
Why a Muslim family opened a Chicago pizzeria
Because our own family could not get a proper deep dish anywhere in Irving without asking three questions first. So we built the place we wanted to eat at, and we opened it in 2018. Everything you see on the menu passed the same test: would we feed it to our own kids at midnight.
